    More holes speeds up milk heat-up time and creates more aggressive "roll" when texturing milk. Fewer holes slows things down and gives more time to practice getting consistency.

    A great trick with a heat exchanger Espresso machine (like the ECM Mechanika or Technika) is to use more holes on the steam tip to compensate for lowering the temperature on your steam boiler.
